Internal Teeth Whitening

Internal Teeth Whitening

For a single-tooth discoloration, internal whitening is the first thing I recommend before starting any other treatments.  Most of the time, internal whitening is only thing that is needed to fix the smile.  Internal whitening involves just two short appointments and no anesthesia is required.

This type of discoloration of teeth usually involves one or two teeth with history of trauma.  It can be from a previous root canal treatment or non-vital teeth.  Regular teeth whitening does not work for this type of discoloration.  Porcelain veneers can fix the problem, but internal whitening is a more conservative and simple way to try first before jumping into veneers.
